Grand Brûlé, is the coastal part of the last caldera formed by the Piton de la Fournaise, the active volcano on the island of La Reunion. This area designates the eastern slope of the Piton de la Fournaise is bounded by the Rempart du Tremblet in the south and the Rempart de Bois-Blanc in the north. Several generations of eruption ejecta have poured here, often all the way to the sea. The spaces have been set on the side of the road where you can admire these impressive cooled magma flows fall into the ocean.
