She died Jan. 1, 1872, in her seventy-sixth year, leavingtwo children, daughters, both born in Portsmouth. Theeldest, Ann Edmond, born April 16, 1834, was married inBoston, Jan. 28,1833, by the Rev. S. H. Winkley, to ThomasM. Thompson, now an attorney and counselor-at-law in Chi-cago. The other, Augusta Elizabeth, born May 31, 1839,was married in Portsmouth April 15, 1858, by Rev. , to Edward N. Fuller, at that time editor andproprietor of the Newark Journal^ N. J., in which stateshe resided until filial duty called her to the home of herparents in this town a few months previous to her -^.
