Not intimidated by the presence of the soldiery, aswe read in the thirty-seventh verse, On the last day,the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, say-ing, If any man thirst let him come unto Me anddrink, and added: He that believeth on Me, asthe Scripture hath said, from within him shall flowrivers of living water. The officers who had been sent for His arrest stood.
