Violence and high tensions have been on the rise in Eastern Jerusalem and in the West Bank as Israeli soldiers have continued to storm Al Aqsa compound and assault Palestinian Muslim worshipers, while damaging the mosque. On Monday, at least 22 Palestinians were injured during clashes in Al Aqsa Compound. Many Palestinian politicians, including Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, have warned that if Israeli soldiers continue to accost worshipers and storm the Al Aqsa compound, this newest round of violence and tensions may lead to a bigger conflict or even an uprising.
