Veitch, for Vandacserulescens, an exceedingly handsome species, with palelilac blossoms. The accompanying woodcut will give someidea of the size of the individual flowers, of which thespike on the plant exhibited bore thirteen. Fine, however,as this spike certainly was, it was remarked that it was smallcompared with some that had been received in a dried statefrom India. The beauty of the plant may therefore beconsidered as yet but imperfectly Vanda crerulescons. PUOCEKDINGS. JX Knightian Medal: To J. H. Nash, Esq., Bishops Stortford,for two basketfuls of famously ripened Muscat of Alexan-dria and Black Hamburgh Grapes. Miscellaneous Subjects of Exhibition. Messrs. Hender-son, of Pine-apple Place, sent a white lonopsis from Jamaica,resembling lonopsis pallida. From Mr. Glendinuing, oftiie Chiswick Nursery, came a large and well-cultivatedspecimen of Hoya imperialis, which was stated to liave beenin flower all the sununer. Mr. Plibbins, Gardener to theHon. Mr. Norton, Anuingsley Park, Chertsey, furnishedMuscat of Alexandria Grapes ; but they did not appear tobe quite ripe. Mr. Mitchell, of Kemp Town, Brighton,had a small box of Black Hamburgh Grapes, fair-sizedbunches, and well coloured, the produce of a second cro
