Haweswater, Cumbria, England, July 28th 2022. The ruins of Mardale Green, a once sunken village in Cumbria have emerged from the depths as water levels continue to drop in England. Haweswater Reservoir supplies drinking water to residents of Manchester. Despite a small amount of rainfall over the Cumbrian fells, the water levels are still well below normal heights on what has been coined 'the driest July since 1911'. This has revealed old roads, walls and even a stone footbridge. Pic by Credit: Michael Scott/Alamy Live News
