Marines from Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, are released for liberty by their senior drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 28. This is the first time Marines have seen their families and friends since arriving at the depot 13 weeks ago. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate April 29.
