New York soldiers from the 102D Field Signal Battalion, formerly known as the 1st Bn., New York Signal Corps, of the 27th Division, , arrive at Corbie, Somme, France during World War I. They are seen proudly flying the American flag. These soldiers participated in battles at the Hindenburg Line and St. Souplet under the orders of Lt. Col. W. L. Hellahan, the Chief Signal Officer of the 27th Division.
