A model 1915 substitute helmet,as worn in Macedonia 1915 - 1917. Made of pressed field grey/olive green felt,1891 button and iron fittings,regimental number "88" painted in grey on the front. Damaged leather liner,neck shade of olive-beige cotton cloth,leather strap attachment. A very rare helmet,worn without cockades and spike. Cf. J.
