Chinese Milk Vetch flowers (Astragalus sinicus or Renge or Genge) flowers in full bloom, Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture,Japan. 10th April 2016. Before using of Chemical fertilizer, Chinese Milk Vetch was used as fertilizer for rice fields. Chinese Milk Vetch blooming was often seen in Japanese spring fields. But recently it is disappearing. Here is being maintained by local community.
