Jeffrey Lanzi of North Reading, MA works in the office park that hosted a blood drive and said, "It just seems to be be a great need." He has seen television promotions about blood donations. Nurse Nicole Bausemer of Andover, MA, runs the system that will extract only the donor's red blood cells, returning the plasma to the donor in the same process. (released 2)
