People are gathered with candles to pay tribute to the Pra Bang Buddha, displayed for 3 days each New Year at Wat Sawannaphumaham Temple in Luang Prabang, Laos. The streets of Luang Prabang are lined with tourists and locals alike as they enjoy the colorful display of traditional Lao culture that is on exhibit at this yearly event. Luang Prabang is a UNESCO Heritage City and is known throughout Southeast Asia as one of its most cultural and scenic cities.
