Old Salem has restored house that were built as long ago as the 1700s. The C. Winker Bakery claims to be the oldest continually operating bakery in America!. Established in 1807. Christian Winkler bought the bakery. Brother Winkler, his wife Elizabeth, and their six children would live and work in this house for the rest of their lives.
