If the negative has a fault it is thatit is a trifle hard, and with certain classes of Bromide paperthe resultant print is hard also. The aim of a photographer in quest of pictures of thisnature, where the contrasts are exceedingly great, ought to beto secure a soft negative, and any recent ones I have securedhave been of this nature. The developer used was Pyro-soda,with just as little Pyro as possible.
