Orange Bellied Parrots (Neophema Chrysogaster) are critically endangered. They breed in Tasmania then migrate across Bass Strait to feed in Victoria.


Orange Bellied Parrots are slowly gaining numbers, after near extinction. Healesville Sanctuary's captive breeding program, called Fighting Extinction, is a big part of that recovery.
