Holy Resurrection Cathedral (aka Nicholai-do). Designed by Dr. Michael A. Shchurupov, built by Japanese artisans and completed in 1891. It was built on a site in Kanda selected by Archbishop Nicholas (Kasatkin), now St. Nicholas of Japan, the founder of the Orthodox Church in Japan. This is the main Cathedral of the Japanese Orthodox Church. Kanda District. Chiyoda. Tokyo. Japan
