USS SOMERSET, At sea (April 13, 2017) Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct boxing training during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) training session aboard USS Somerset (LPD 25), April 13. MCMAP teaches physical and mental discipline, helping Marines with the 11th MEU maintain a combat ready body and mindset. The 11th MEU, embarked aboard the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility in support security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
