Houtmarkt: A gate of the Schuttersdoelen from 1645, after a washed pen drawing by Johannes Franciscus Christ (14-2-1790-9-3-1845). The Houtmarkt was a friendly square in the 17th and 18th centuries with trees on either side. The gate gave access to the goals and was demolished in 1835. In the middle of the pediment with the city coat of arms with lions on the left and right with a claw on the globe.
