In the background of the shot rises the tower of the church of the Evangelical Reformed Parish (Parafia Ewangelicko-Reformaowana) at 76a aleja Solidarnosci. The cylindical building between the rail lines is an 18th century well, popularly known as 'Gruba Kaska' (Fat Catherine). This structure, with stepped roof crowned by a gilded ball, was built in 1787, in what was then Tlomackim Square. It was renovated in 2004 to its original appearance. including exposing its bricked-up windows and strengthening its foundations.
