Glanum Provence France

Glanum, originally a Greek settlement, became a Roman settlement in the 1st century BC. The Sanctuary Area is the farthest from the road, separated from the rest of Glanum by a fortified gateway built by the Greeks. This area includes the sanctuary and shrine, Hercules temple, Valetudo temple and Glanis inscriptions.
