The women depict two of the '24 examples of childish obedience '; A Chinese classical text attributed to the Philosopher Confucius. The half-a-bare woman on the porch presents Gomô, which according to the story slept naked so that the mosquitoes would get rid of him, instead of his parents. The blossom leaves covered on the back refer to the mosquitoes. With two poems.
