Army Col. Amanda Doyle, deputy commander of the 205th Regiment (RTI), Washington National Guard, receives a gift of flowers from a family member on Camp Murray, Wash., Jan. 8, 2023. In 2001, Doyle received her commission as a military police officer, and was assigned to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, and joined the Washington National Guard in 2012. Prior to becoming 205th RTI deputy commander, Doyle commanded the 741st Ordnance Battalion (EOD), 96th Troop Command.
