EARLE, (May 22, 2017) – Airman Cody Good stands by to lower the Union Jack as the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) prepares to depart Naval Weapons Station Earle following an ammunition on-load. Iwo Jima is currently conducting routine operations at sea following the completion of a continuous maintenance availability period.
