(May 3, 2017) - Cmdr. Peter Halvorsen, commanding officer, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64), left, and Lt. Seelye Clements, conning officer, guide the ship out of Amsterdam after a scheduled port visit May 3, 2017. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting its third patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
