This is the most decided novelty in Roses we have had in years. Just from Japan. It has been a source of wonder and admiration wherever exhibited. The plant is a vigorous grower, making shoots from 8 to 10 feet long in a season. A charming Pillar Rose; for covering trellises or buildings there is nothing finer. The flowers are grown in great pyram- idal panicles, each carrying 30 to 40 blooms; the individual flowers are 1 to V/2 inches in diameter, and remain in perfect condition on the plants for a long time.
