Almshouses known locally as the "Bede Houses" in Burton Street, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England, UK


This row of Almshouses (known locally as the Bede Houses), beside Burton Street in the historic market town of Melton Mowbray, were built in 1641 for poor local bachelors and widows. They were restored in 1891 and are now part of the heritage trail historic walk around Melton Mowbray attracting tourists and locals alike.
