Koritza, one of the chief townsin South Albania, is the cleanest and bestbuilt town that I know on Turkish are here playing an advanced excellent girls school exists underthe protection of the American mission,and the teaching can, therefore, be carriedout in Albanian. It is the only school ofits kind. Thus the girls get instructionthat is denied their brothers. This is asingular fact.
