Looking Glass Rock, a famous mountain seen from the Blue Ridge Parkway scenic highway, the only road to be designated a National Park.

Looking Glass Rock mountain viewed from an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway (national park) in North Carolina. The name "Looking Glass" comes from the immense dome of Looking Glass Rock, where water freezes on its sides in the winter and then glistens in the sunlight like a mirror or looking glass.
