Tri-R Kis Kit built Aircraft leaving Inverness Dalcross Airport in the Scottish Highlands.


The Tri-R KIS TR-1 is an American homebuilt aircraft that was designed by Rich Trickel and produced by Tri-R Technologies of Oxnard, California, introduced in the 1990s. This particular model G-BZDR during a landing at Perth Aerodrome in central Scotland 0n 24th May 2014 suffered a failure of the nose landing gear, and lesser other damage to the aircraft. the Pilot was uninjured and subsequent repairs were carried out and flying certification given enabling the aircraft to fly again.
