An elderly couple visiting the concrete memorial erected in memory of the 35 soldiers that in January 1948 were sent on a mission to aid the defenders of the besieged Etzion Block; discovered before dawn, they all perished in the ensuing battle. The monument is situated near Kibbutz Nativ Ha-Lamed-He in the Valley of Elah
