190401-N-TI693-0122 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 1, 2019) - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) fires rounds from the Close-In Weapons System, Phalanx, during a gun exercise as part of Joint Warrior 19-1, April 1, 2019. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its sixth patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners as well as national security interests in Europe and Africa.
