A campaign sword, Flemish or French, circa 1620 Double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section. The top quarter with narrow fuller on both sides, struck with a series of St. Andrew's crosses. Slightly fullered ricasso, struck on both sides with an illegible inscription "Antonio Picinio"(?). Elaborate hilt with ridged bars and shell-guards on both sides. The grip with iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Ball pommel, the top nut replaced. Length cm.
