For the heating pipes, run three 214- inch flows to the farther end. One of these can be on each wall plate and the other two feet below the ridge. Con- nect each of these with a coil of four 2-inch return pipes, which should be under the flow pipes and should have a slope of one inch in ten feet back toward the boiler. This will give about the right temperatures in the middle and west houses. To obtain a little more heat in the east house, drop down a 2-inch pipe from the overhead flow and with it feed a coil of three 2-inch pipes back to the boiler.
