Gullfoss is a waterfall on the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country and part of the 'Golden Circle'. The falls plunge a total of 32m in two stages (11 m and 21 m) into a crevice about 20 m wide and km in length.
