Bournemouth, UK 5 June 2015. A team of firefighters are doing the Pier to Pier Cycle Challenge on a Boris bike to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity and Diverse Abilities. The challenge sees them cycle 300 miles from Bournemouth Pier, departing at midday today, to Blackpool Pier. They are cycling on a Boris Bike which weighs 23kg compared to an average road bike weighing around 8kg.
