Vieillot's Black Weaver, Bigodi Swamp

Vieillot's Black Weaver, Bigodi Swamp. It is clinging to the opening of it's nest with it's bright yellow eye standing out well against it's feathers. The birds tend to nest in great numbers in the same tree and often close to human habitation. This photograph was taken at Bigodi swamp and the tree was next to the visitor centre.
