The Soldiers of the 2nd Bn., 4th Inf. Regt., is part of the 4th BCT, 10th Mountain Div., is scheduled to complete its 14-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom early next year, returning to home station at Fort Polk, La. The Soldiers of the "Warriors" Bn., currently attached to the 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., MND-B, partnered with Iraqi Army, National Police and Iraqi Police to serve and protect the Doura community, an area once reputed as an insurgent stronghold in Baghdad.
