Halbachhammer, Margaretenhoehe, Essen, Germany.


After almost 500 years the Halbachhammer (smithy) was decommisioned in 1900. Originally intended for an industrial exhibition which did not take place it was finally recommisioned in the Nightingale Valley near Margaretenhohe. It now belongs to the Ruhrland Museum and is fully functional.
