PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 7, 2013) An EA-6B Prowler, assigned to the “Gray Wolves” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 142, shoots flares as it passes the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during an airshow performed by the squadrons of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11. Nimitz is transiting the 3rd Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) after spending eight months deployed to the 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet AORs.
