ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 7, 2015) - The guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) patrols the Atlantic Ocean at night before the ship's transit to Rota, Spain. Carney is the fourth Arleigh Burke-class destroyer to be forward deployed to Rota, Spain, to serve as part of the President's European Phased Adaptive Approach to ballistic missile defense in Europe.
