A pair of percussion pistols, Johann Andreas Kuchenreuther, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1780. Round, smooth bore barrels in 12 mm calibre with silver front sights. The tops of the barrels are richly inlaid with silver vine designs. Each barrel is signed, "IOH ANDRE KUCHENREITER" on the barrel rib which also bears a silver-filled rider mark (Stöckel No. 624). Smooth converted percussion locks with sliding safeties, and engraved "BERLEUR" on the bevelled edges of the lock plates (worn). Single set triggers.
