GULF (Nov. 8, 2016) Seaman Zack Langley-Jenkins, a Statesboro, Ga. native, performs a spot check on a potassium bicarbonate bottle while Megan Vides, a Wichita, Kan. native, supervises in the hazardous material locker of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Ike and its carrier strike group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
