As a large percentage of these trees measured a good3ft. at the base, the hand grubbing method would obviously have entailed weeks of hard and expensivelabour. A point which I have not yet seen emphasized is this:—The hole left after a tree is pulled by the Forest Devil is nothing like so large or laboriovis to refill as that left after hand grubbing—an importantpoint. I may add that I am perfectly satisfied with the soundness of my investment, and thank you for thecourtesy and promptness with which the transaction of purchase was carried out. Bamawm, Roihestc .
