A Japanese katana in shirasaya, 16th century, attributed to Fujiwara Takada Blade shinogi-zukuri, chu-kissaki, flat torii-zori. Suguha hamon with very small hateraki. O-maru boshi with middle kaeri. Chu- and o-mokume hada, partially with slightly open forging in the shinogi section. Small pit mark in the edge section. Ubu nakago, one mekugi-ana, kiri yasurime. Well executed, old kesho finish. Copper habaki. Mounted in shirasaya. Length k/m cm, overall length cm. Accompanied by a basic certificate of authenticity issued by the Nihon Bujutsu Token Hozon,
