Mr. De Bevoise, who is still living, at the ad-vanced age of 85, at 104 De Bevoise avenue, Brooklyn,has during a long and active life enjoyed to a high degreethe confidence of his fellow citizens, and has been iden-tified with many of the leading interests of the past. Fora number of years he was the supervisor of the town ofBushwick. Politically he is a Democrat.
