Airmen from the 705th Munitions Squadron load a B-52H Stratofortress with AGM-86B Air-Launch Cruise Missiles during Prairie Vigilance, an exercise conducted by the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, Sept. 16, 2022. The ALCMs are unloaded from the aircraft prior to their take-off. Prairie Vigilance tests the 5th BW’s ability to conduct strategic-bomber readiness operations.
