This new section of the Dahlia family has become exceedingly fashionable, owing to the value at- tached tothe cut blooms,theirairy, butterfly-like forms giving the flowera grace never attained by the finest double sorts. The flowers are exceedingly beautiful, of the richest coloring, and combinations of color, resembling a dogwood blossom in shape, three inches in diameter. They are very effective and beautiful in the garden, but for cutting for decoration in the house are simply elegant.
