While a resident of Highland, Madison County, 111., Dr. Wehrly and MissAugusta Wehrle were united in marriage on November 17, 1892. She is a native ofHighland and the daughter of Andrew and Katherine (Raber) Wehrle. Mr. Wehrlewas a well-known business man of that city and there the daughter was reared andeducated. Two children blessed their union; John L., graduated from the Santa Anahigh school in 1916 and became a student at the U. C. The family attend and belong to the First Methodist Episcopal Church at SantaAna, where Dr. Wehrly is a member of the board of stewards.
