A costumed Tetsutomo Iizuka of Japan running through the Chinatown neighborhood during the 2016 Chicago Marathon as he heads toward the final stages of the race. Iizuka, 56, and costume have become an annual part of the race for some went on to finish the race in just over three hours at 3:09:29 to finish 28th in his age division. The Chicago Marathon is one of the world's five major marathon events annually joining the Boston, London, Berlin and New York major events in attracting outstanding competitors from all over the world.
