St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth, 1854. '...this church was appointed to be the Cathedral of the diocese of Dunkeld, St. Andrew, and Dunblane. The edifice is interesting, as being the first built by the Scottish Episoopal Church; and as being, in fact, the only Cathedral used as such in nave and transept are filled with low, open seats, and accommodate about 800 is hoped that the whole building will soon be finished'.
